UpRise needs your support!
Everything is in place for the phoenix to Rise from the ashes.
Over the last 10 months we've been working to stage a free music festival in the spirit of Rise that takes a stand against racism.
UpRise: London United Against Racism is ready to take flight.
We've got the expertise, know-how and plans to put together an event worthy of carrying the legacy of Rise Festival.
Now all we need is your help to raise the £100,000 needed to stage UpRise - and we need to raise it by Wednesday, March 31st.
Please be aware that this festival is being resurrected independently of government funding by a non–profit, grassroots organisation of volunteers lending their skills. UpRise will be a festival by the people, for the people.
We’ve been overwhelmed by the support and encouragement we have received in the past few months, but sadly love alone is not enough stage a music festival.
£100,000 is not a lot of money - if the 100,000 people who attended Rise 2008 donated JUST £1, we would reach our target!
If you've enjoyed Rise in the past and want to see it back, believe in the cause or have only just become a follower, back the campaign to keep the flame of London's much-loved anti-racism festival alive. Together we can bring it back - donate today!
Full details of our history, supporters and progress is detailed on this site.
